What's the difference between Polycarbonate and Acrylic?

Polycarbonate is a high impact material, 200 times stronger than the same thickness of glass. It can be used for more vulnerable areas such as machine guards and extra security for your windows. It scratches easier than acrylic but has a much higher impact strength, you can hit with a hammer and it won't break! Acrylic is the product to use for general everyday things such as replacement shed & green house panels, table top protectors, secondary glazing panels, shelf protectors, picture frames, etc. It comes in a full range of colours, great for kitchen splash backs!
